The Hon Tim Mulherin was born and bred in Mackay. He is part of the well known and respected Mulherin family who have resided in Mackay for many years.
Tim has been interested and involved in Politics since a young age and was elected as the Member for Mackay on July 15, 1995.
Tim values his family time with wife Erin and three sons - Declan, Liam and Rory.
He is immensely proud of being the local Member and delivering results for local residents.
Tim was appointed Minister for Primary Industries and Fisheries on December 12, 2005, which often sees him in Brisbane fulfilling his Ministerial commitments.
Tim is committed to playing his part in ensuring Mackay continues to be a great place to live for residents and a great place to visit for tourists.
